The MCH Foundation-funded research project led by Dr. Christine McCusker.
Dr. McCusker is looking at the pros and cons of prescribing biologics, a new type of medication, to children with immune diseases and some cancers. She was able to get this pioneering work off the ground thanks to a donation from the McConnell Foundation. This is just one of the terrific projects funded by the Foundation’s Unexpected Ways to Heal Campaign.
